Incorporation of a Société de Service (Service Company)

The service company is a wholly owned subsidiary of a parent company whose commercial operations are strictly limited to providing services to the parent company or other companies of the same type which belong to the parent company.

The sole activity of the service company is to provide services to foreign companies which are part of the same group to which the company belongs. The types of services included are: technical assistance, management, marketing, financial and administrative services..

This type of company enjoys preferential tax rates provided it has prior approval from the tax authorities.

The maximum tax base is set at 10% of the company’s general expenses in Switzerland.

95% of these companies are in the form of a Limited company (Société Anonyme).

The service company is well particularly well suited to the needs of international companies and groups.
